St Luke's Church Goostrey
St. Luke's Church is a delightful village church in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
Within sight of the famous Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope, St. Luke's is in a prominent position in the village, near the school, pubs, shops and station. Its people and its activities have been an integral part of the village life since the Middle Ages, and they continue to play an active part in the community today.
In 2006 St Luke's became part of a Joint Benefice with St Peter's Swettenham.
Red Lion Goostrey
"People have said that these days, pubs are like restaurants with bars. Not here! we're a pub AND restaurant."
"The Crown" Goostrey
"Shaun and his team welcome you to The Crown, a traditional 18thcentury pub set in the heart of the historical farming village of Goostrey, Cheshire. The cosy ‘local’ has always been an integral part of the community, and its characterful original features, log fires and rustic décor adds to its ‘village pub’ charm."
